February 20, 2018 – Dinner Meeting Information


We will initially spend about 20 minutes on the history of Calibration as well as a brief explanation of its benefits, and why it is required. We will then get into more specifics of Calibration:

* Changes and Increased Requirements within the Quality Industry
* Accreditation Specifics that you should be looking for in a Calibration Provider
* The importance of Traceability
* Definition of terms used in Calibration and what to look for in a Calibration Certificate
* What you should be providing your Calibration Provider
* What your Calibration Provider should be Providing you
* Examples of Equipment Specific Calibration Requirements

In Addition:
A Q&A Station that will be manned by ATI Metrologists will be set up in the room for more “specific” customer questions on Measurement & Calibration “after the presentation”.
If you would like to see how easy and effortless Gage Control can actually be, a demonstration of ATI’s A-Trax Gage Management Portal will also be set up in the room. An A-Trax account is set up for free for every customer. It completely controls your Gage Program (from Gage Due Notifications and Auto-Generated Packing Lists for Gages Due, to reports for Out of Tolerance Findings) making your job a lot easier.

Ken Losacco has been the President of Assurance Technologies, Inc. for over 20 years. ATI is a manufacturer, distributor and calibration / repair provider to the Quality Industry in the Chicago area. ATI’s specialty is in developing Quality solutions to Quality problems.

Prior to owning ATI, Kenn worked as a Project Engineer and an Engineering Manager for over 20 years in the Tooling, Nuclear, Electronics and Automotive Industries. He spent most of his career working in Engineering with Quality Assurance developing methods to design, manufacture and inspect manufactured products, faster and with the greatest repeatability & accuracy.

– Option 1: Weiner Schnitzel: Pork Tenderloin dipped in egg batter, flaked with special breading, and pan fried in butter. Served with garlic mashed potatoes and red cabbage.

– Option 2: Chicken Schnitzel: Boneless Tender Chicken Breast dipped in egg butter, breaded, and pan fried in butter. Served with garlic mashed potatoes and red cabbage.

– Option 3: Broiled Canadian Walleye Pike: Served with rice pilaf, red cabbage, and finished with a lemon butter sauce.

– Vegetarian Option (if requested): Fettucine Primavera.

All entrees include: chicken noodle soup, bread and butter, and apple strudel (dessert). For vegetarian option, you can request for a salad instead of a soup.
