13th Annual NIQC
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, November 16, 2010. You are cordially invited to the 13th Annual Northern Illinois Quality Conference (NIQC) at the Northern Illinois University, Naperville Campus. NIQC 2010 is sponsored by five Sections of American Society for Quality (ASQ): Chicago, Fox Valley, Heart of Illinois, Illiana & Northeastern Illinois and the ASQ Information Integrity Interest Group.
The NIQC 2010 theme is “Journey to Excellence”. The two-day event also includes eight workshops that will be held on Monday, November 15th, 2010.
NIQC 2010 offers attendees the opportunity to learn more about succeeding with Quality. This conference is designed to give attendees an insight on successful industry practices and the tools being used.
Two outstanding keynote speakers are scheduled for Tuesday: Ms. Sarah Griffin, Business Applications Director, McDonald’s Corporation and Mr. Ron Kingen, President, CVI – Lighthouse Group.
Four Panel discussions on Tuesday, November 16th, include: Healthcare Informatics Panel, Supply Chain Management Panel, Business Ethics Panel and Green Technology & Environmental Sustainability Panel. The various panel members are recognized industry professionals, some with global credentials and published works.
The November 15, Monday morning workshops (8:30 am – 12:00 noon) offer the choice of Change Management, ISO Based Systems, How the Baldridge Criteria Drive Results and Risk Management. The afternoon workshops (1:00 pm – 4:30 pm) provide the opportunity to learn more about Design of Experiments, Facilitation Skills for Continual Improvements, ISO 26000 – Social Responsibility and Talent Management.
We are currently soliciting corporate and organizational sponsorships to make the conference more affordable for all attendees. Your organization will get one free admission to the November 16, 2010 conference for every $500 in sponsorship funds. In addition, each sponsor will be acknowledged in the conference brochure and program and recognized at the conference.
The conference cost is $125 if not attending a workshop and $100 if attending at least one workshop. Each workshop costs $150 each. Go to the website to register online.
For those who are unemployed, the cost is $75 for the conference and $75 for each workshop. Register by US mail only.
